What a weird couple of weeks. Alright… so what comes next? Oh I still have about 2000 photos to edit? Shit, fine, I guess nothing for a little bit longer.
- Yeah, we’re gonna start with Wardruna. Their sixth studio album, Birna, will arrive on January 24 through Sony and By Norse Music. Give “Himinndotter” a watch and listen here.
- Out of Bindrune Recordings, anonymous atmospheric black metal solo entity ISLEPTONTHEMOON will release Only The Stars Know of My Misfortune on… well, we don’t really know yet. Later! Anyway, check out “Safety” here. Fun fact: I’m already obsessed with all of this.
- Next, a whole bunch of videos from today’s releases. First, Glacial Tomb released Lightless Expanse through Prosthetic Records, a clip for the title track of which can be found here. Get your sludge on this lovely Friday.
- And then we have Unto Others, or as we affectionately know them, Untoothers. Never, Neverland is officially out through Century Media, and a video for “Suicide Today” came with it. I like Unto Others… but I need more time with this latest release. So sad.
- Finally, Vended released their self-titled debut today. To mark the occasion, they offered up a video for “Where The Honesty Lies”, which you can check out below. They’ll be on the road basically through October, should you be interested.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
