One more super long run this morning, and then I can call this training season a wrap (basically).

• Alright, we’ll open up our Saturday morning with Dawn Of Solace. The Finnish melancholic metallers are releasing their fourth studio album on February 14th through Noble Demon, titled Affliction Vortex. A video for “Fortress” is available here.
• Blackened death metal outfit Gravethorn are releasing Atrocitas next month through Wormholedeath Records, and as a sample they offered up a lyric video for “Barbaric War Declared”.
• German thrashers Godslave covered Trivium’s “To The Rats”. I haven’t listened to it yet, but I’m gonna! Did I care for the original song (or album)? Nope! But I am curious about a fresh take on it.
• I wanted to include some black metal, and Häxkapell stood out to me. Om jordens blod och urgravens grepp will be out on January 17th through Nordvis, and “Satans rötter”, the debut single, can be heard here.
• And since I was just doing a metalcore deep dive last night, we’ll close with the announcement from Bleeding Through. They’re releasing their ninth full-length album, Nine, on February 14th through SharpTone Records. Give “Path Of Our Disease” a watch and listen below.
