Slowly, but surely, catching up on life. But it’s mostly fun things now!
- Let’s start with another artist I’m excited to see at FITM: Hexvessel. The Finnish black metal crew are releasing their seventh album, Nocturne, on June 13th through Prophecy Productions and a visualizer for “Nights Tender Reckoning” is available now.
- Helms Deep are releasing their sophomore album, Chasing the Dragon, on June 20th through Nameless Grave Records. The first track from that effort, “Flight Of The Harpy”, can be streamed through Bandcamp. Do it to it.
- Gothic sludge band Blood Vulture announced their debut album, Die Close, will be out on June 27th through Pure Noise Records. A video for “A Dream About Starving To Death” arrived today.
- This day will end with a couple of items out of Nuclear Blast. First, we have Polish death metal veterans Vader. They have a new EP out on May 30th titled Humanihility, and “Unbending (Mystic Festival Anthem 2025)” can be heard now.
- And finally, Fallujah will round out the evening. We all know Xenotaph is coming on June 13th, so close check out the latest sample from their sixth album, a track titled “Labyrinth of Stone”.
