I’m seeing Emperor tomorrow night. The last time I saw Emperor? Wacken 2014. Fucking wild, yo.
- Since I’m going to be immersed in like four hours of black metal tomorrow, let’s focused on something completely different to start. Post-metal outfit Hiroe are releasing Wield on June 6th through Pelagic Records, and a couple of days ago they shared a video for the latest track “Dancing at the End of the World”. Sounds fun. Sounds… tangible.
- Out of Metal Blade Records, Byzantine presented the new video and single “The Unobtainable Sleep”. Harbingers, their upcoming new full-length album, is out on June 13th.
- Ah, fuck it. More black metal. Germany’s Cromlech revealed the new track “Ice Curse”. That’s the first sample taken from their second album, Of Owls and Eels, which is also out on June 6th through Darkness Shall Rise Productions.
- Finnish power/symphonic metal veterans Battle Beast released the new single “Last Goodbye”. That’s the first taste of their seventh album, which will be out sometime later this year.
- Time to wrap up the week (kind of). Here’s Ceresian Valot with their new track (with visualizer) “Pohjavirtauksia”. Their debut full-length, Uumen, is out on May 23rd through Prophecy Productions.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
