That was one hell of a week and I already know this weekend is going to fly by.
- One of my favorite recent heavy metal projects, Spirit Adrift, released their sixth and final album today, titled Infinite Illumination. So that’s a bummer. But there’s good news! It’s fucking awesome. Out through 20 Buck Spin, you can stream and preorder physical copies here.
- French blackened sludge outfit Verdun are releasing a new full length on June 26th through Transcending Obscurity titled Abyssal Womb. Check out “Silent Witness” as a preview.
- A little melodic metal on a Friday night. Rexoria released their new single “Heart of Sorrow” today, taken from Fallen Dimension. That’s out on May 8th through Sound Pollution and Black Lodge Records.
- From there, progressive post-metal crew Loneshore have joined the Willowtip roster for the release of their second full-length album. Nothing Left to Deconstruct will be out on June 19th and a video for “Parhelion” is available here.
- And we’ll close out the week with Einherjer. The Norwegians are releasing their 10th album, Lifeblood, on June 19th through By Norse Music and a video for the first single, “Bloodborn”, can be found below as always.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
