It’s a holiday week, but one with less plans than most other recent weeks. What a time to be alive! (Not complaining, to be clear.)

• To start said week, Pain Effulgence, the third LP from Innumerable Forms, is set to be released on August 22nd through Profound Lore. That death/doom act features members of Dream Unending, Power Trip, Mammoth Grinder, and more… so this is one to keep an eye on. Check out “Impulse” here.
• Swiss post-metal veterans Abraham announced their new album, idsungwüssä, will be out on September 26th through Pelagic Records. Give “Naked in a Naked Sky” a listen to get a first taste of their fifth album.
• Out of Iron Bonehead Productions, Cruentation will release their debut album, Damned Fallen Angels, on September 26th. Check out the title-track from the New England black/death metallers right now.
• Connecticut metallic noise rock outfit Intercourse announced September tour dates with Nerver, and have a new album coming later this year through Brutal Panda Records. Here’s “Running A Cemetery Without A License” if you want a sample.
• And we’ll wrap up with some grind. Pulpit Vomit are releasing their devastating review on July 27th through Rottweiler Records and Broken Curfew Records. Give “Razor Jaw” a peak below to get a sense of what’s coming.
