What are we doing this week? Oh yea, melting…again! YAY. It is hot and even I, the local summer lover, can admit it. And I love the signs around here at the local farmer’s markets that say “YES indeed it is hot and you will be charged extra if you ask if it’s hot enough for us.” Speaking of turning up the heat: this week’s batch of new releases does just that with some smoldering black metal from Arkhaaik, sizzling speed metal from Atomic Witch, dank death metal from Thorn, and some roasting rock from The Dirty Nil. Oh, and of course, the rest of the list are all equally as hot or toasty or whatever the hell you want to use to express swamp ass heat. With all that being said, we’ll be over here in some water somewhere with something cold to drink and these tight tunes to keep us company. Go investigate and we’ll see you here throughout the week.
