At least there’s only like three more weeks until the next vacation.

  • Let’s start with another Halloween release – a date that seems like it will be a big one (rightfully so). Swiss black metal entity Häxär are releasing their third album, Teufelskult, through Purity Through Fire and “Bastardis” can be heard here.
  • Gothic noise rockers Crippling Alcoholism shared a video for the new single “Ladies’ Night”. That’s taken from their new album, Camgirl, which is out on September 12th via Portrayal of Guilt.
  • Atmospheric doom rock project Ptolemea announced a new album, Kali, will be out on November 6th through Raging Planet Records. Everything Is Noise premiered the leading single, “Guilhotina”, in case you want an early taste.
  • And some heavy rock next. Alpha Destroyer released a video for “Lobotomized”, a track pulled from Fast Lane. That album is out on October 15th through Necromantic Press Records.
  • Yo, Equilibrium are still doing fun things in whatever form they are now. Check out the video for the standalone single “Bloodwood” below. It’s about a tree becoming human. Fuck yeah. And yes, I am still grateful for my sign-off. Speaking of which…

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
