I have a feeling this is going to be a very long short week. As usual.
- Finnish modern metal band Hexbloom released their debut track earlier in 2025, and now they’re back again with the second single titled “Celestial Doom”. A video for that can be seen here.
- Roman extreme metal crew Deos unleashed a vicious new track titled “Dura Lex Sed Lex” along with a lyric video. That’s the latest taste of Augustus Omnipotens, which is out on December 5th through Wormholedeath.
- American-Canadian grindcore project Raw Addict (the first grindcore sample of the evening) unveiled the first single from their upcoming debut album, a track titled “Lysogenic Code”. Swarm Decomposition is out Friday through Selfmadegod Records.
- Italian heavy prog metallers Borrower have signed on with Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records, marking their next chapter. And it sounds like a new album is well underway. We’ll stay tuned.
- Grindcore veterans Rotten Sound will help us close out Monday with their video for the new single “Idealist”. Mass Extinction is out on December 12th through Season of Mist.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
