The 417th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist has a funeral this morning, a birthday celebration this afternoon, and a college pickup four hours away this evening. It’s a LOT, and so I’m happy to let others do the heavy lifting this week. Me? I’ll be playing the new HEALTH album repeatedly, with occasional detours to Dhärä, a killer local progressive metal band who after experiencing the multi-media ballet/film of their new album Element Four has me scrambling to adjust my EOY list and wonder why they’re not already signed to InsideOut. No actual videos, so I added the trailer for the show.

The rest of the 9C crew are keeping this week afloat, with cuts from the forthcoming Archspire, more from the latest Voidceremony, fast becoming an EOY candidate for me, as well as Mauled, Alcest, and classic Blind Guardian to boot.
