Another late night but… what are you gonna do?
- Dimmu Borgir is back. What better way to lead this off than with that update? Grand Serpent Rising is slated for a May 22nd release through Nuclear Blast and the first teaser from that, “Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel”, is pretty damn good.
- Poison Ruin are dropping Hymns from the Hills a week from tomorrow through Relapse Records, and “Guts (Lay Your Self Aside)” is the final single taken from that. Here’s a visualizer for it.
- Scottish thrash/death metal outfit Tyrannus announced that they have a new album on the way. Their sophomore effort, Mournhold, will be out on May 15th through True Cult Records and “Reignfall” is premiering through Invisible Oranges.
- Staying in the same region, UK progressive sludge crew Desert Storm have a new video out for “Newfound Respect” that you can watch over at Outlaws of the Sun. Buried Under the Weight of Reason is out through Heavy Psych Sounds.
- Alright, we gotta wrap up with the new Frozen Soul track. “Invoke War” features Machine Head’s Robb Flynn and is the latest offering from No Place of Warmth. Their new album is out on May 8th through Century Media.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
