Last of March. Last day of second winter. I hope.
- Japanese death metal veterans Defiled are releasing their ninth album, Altered State, on June 12th through Season of Mist. “Portal” is the first offering from that, and a video for it is available here.
- And then Swedish melodic death metal newcomers Abandon Agony have set May 22nd as the release date of their debut full-length, Endbringer. The first single from that album, “Writing On The Wall”, is streaming now.
- Another debut album is on the way from AntiHuman Industries. Accelerated Death Impulse will be out at the end of April through W.T.C. Productions and “Loop of Cosmic Horror” can be heard here.
- Let’s step it up a notch. Monolord return in 2026 with Neverending, their first album in half a decade. That will be out on June 12th through Relapse Records and “You Bastard” is an early sample. They’re also touring with Mizmor and Khemmis this year… so definitely don’t miss out on that.
- And lastly a new video from modern metal crew Dominum for “The Circus Is In Town”. Night is out on July 3rd through Napalm Records.
