I’m being lazy on a Saturday morning because I need to run 11 miles in an hour… so may as well clean the inbox while I’m here.

  • Hulder, one of the more talked about names in black metal these days (for good reasons), set August 7th as the release date for Verbolgen. The new full-length will be out in partnership with 20 Buck Spin and Season of Mist.
  • Circadian Promise, the third album from New England melodeath outfit Fires in the Distance, is one I’ve had circled since it was announced. They gave us a new single at the end of the week titled “To You, Author of My Fade”.
  • Swedish black metal entity Flykt are releasing Sinister Strain through Hammerheart Records on June 19th and just released the new track “The Release and Descent” as the second sample from that new album.
  • Mork, the Norwegian project from Thomas Eriksen, is back with a new album on June 19th as well, titled Monolitt. That will be available through Peaceville and a video for “Torden” is available here.
  • And we’ll wrap up with Cyanide I guess. Check out the clip for “Get Up and Dance”, which features Keith Robert. That single was released through Kivel Records on CD.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”

  1. I really appreciate the Cyanide video post. That is really funny. I needed some comic relief today. I bet those guys listen to Hulder 😉
