The 464th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist wishes you and yours a spooky Halloween. For myself, I’m knee deep in new releases from Genital Shame and the silly (but awesome) bleep bloop of Master Boot Record, but that still leaves me time for the fun stuff: yes, that Warren Zevon pick is mine and I make no apologies for it.

The rest of the 9C crew went all in this week, giving you a taste of what’s cooking in the offices this Autumn. We’ve got Chants, Darkest Hour (absolute fire), classic Type O Negative, singles from the forthcoming Assumption, more Enslaved (surprise not surprised)…hell, we’ve even got Colin Stetson on a cut (more Cleric, please?) and something called Old Gods of Asgard which, judging by the video thumbnail is going to be a hoot.
