Given how these weeks have been going, let’s just consider donuts a Saturday morning ritual going forward. Now what did I miss yesterday?

  • Louisville black metal entity Anagnorisis are breaking a a decade-long hiatus with their new LP, Caregriever. Their fourth album is set for an October 23rd drop and “Nothing Left to Give” is streaming now.
  • France’s Profanation, billed as an extreme metal project of… many varieties apparently, will release their debut on September 25th. Ultra-Noise Warfare will be out through Iron Bonehead and the title track is available here.
  • Runemagick presented the third and final sample from After Chaos: Nocturnal Vigil yesterday, a track titled “Urðr’s Cosmic Weave”. Their upcoming double album will be a Hammerheart release on… actually I have no idea. Good luck!
  • I like things out of Iceland, so I know I’ll at least give this a chance. Sorcerous folk‑metal entity Hrafnablót announced that their debut, Guðlaugar Saga, will be out in a couple of weeks on September 11th. So I now present… a video for “Heljarhlíð”.
  • Lastly, our video for the day is from Death Dealer Union. Give “Dark Sister” a watch and listen below. That’s the title track of their September 18th release.

“Ein Bier… bitte.”
