The 455th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist is literally working on the catch-up for July and August, so really the only thing I’ve been listening to over and over are those albums…which does indeed include some preliminary thoughts on the new Mastodon. So I’m going to let others take the ball this week when it comes to picks.

(I’m also knee-deep in the Turnstiles remix album. Dying Fetus covering “Birds”?! Yes, please)
