Another long day in the city. The good news? Only one more and then I can return the mountains.

• Oh heck yeah, new Fucked Up is on the way. Year Of The Rooster, a 2xLP, will be a November 13th release through Tankcrimes and two excerpts are streaming now: “Good Goat Saw A Leaf” and “I Hear The Hooves”.
• Anyone craving some symphonic black metal on a Tuesday evening? If so, Vesseles might scratch the itch for you. Check out “Eternally Within Us (Reclaimed)”. That’s a taste of the upcoming new album, Home (Reclaimed), scheduled for a March 26th drop.
• Hey remember that awesome split Deafheaven and Bosse-de-Nage put out in 2012? If so, I have some good freaking news. It just got a remix, remaster, and re-release… which is available right now digitally through The Flenser. (Physical formats will follow eventually.)
• We really are already getting 2027 release announcements, huh? I’m so not ready for that. Oh well. 200 Stab Wounds have Lowest Form coming on February 19th through Metal Blade, so that’s at least a good one… as is evidenced by “Pangs Of Conscience”.
