It’s been a long week, and there will be more long weeks ahead. But at least those long weeks will involve travel!

• We open with the final segment of the 21-minute closing piece from Solaris, titled “Milk of My Dreams”. That segment features Thorsten Quaeschning of Tangerine Dream, and I gotta be real, the more I hear from this new album from The Ocean, the more excited I am for it. It’s out a week from Friday through Pelagic, and yes I did preorder the box set.
• Texas progressive metalcore outfit Fervence shared “Ascension” today, a taste of their upcoming new album Constructs. That will be an October 16th Metal Blade release.
• A quick 2027 tour announcement that I am quite excited about. Nile and Coroner are covering the U.S. in March and April, kicking off on the 2nd in Greenville, SC. Here’s the full schedule.
• Thursday closes with Peeling Flesh. They have a new self-titled album out on November 27th through Unique Leader Records and a video for the first sample from that, “Murderous Intent”, is below. That track features Mike Ryan of Missing Link.
