The 461st edition of the Nine Circles Playlist continues to be at a personal crossroads, so this is going to be brief. Yeah, new Deafheaven was a pleasant surprise, but I’ve been listening to a lot of the recent remaster of Sad Wings of Destiny (congrats going out on your own terms, Ian Hill!) and that sublime collaboration between Zeal & Ardor and Carpenter Brut.

The 9C staff bring their own aural cure for various ills and afflictions, including new music from Power Trip, Down, and some ripping Celestial Sanctuary. On the softer side of things we have Ghost, American Football and some Rosetta – it’s been a minute since I listened to them so I’m just as excited to hear this week’s entry.

Get listening. Stay safe. See you next week.
