Alright. It’s Friday. And the only thing standing between me and the excessive amount of beer in the fridge is Today’s metal news. So, without delay…
- Let’s start with tours: Steel Panther and Judas Priest. How ridiculous is that concept. Holy fuck. We also have ourselves a Suffocation/Kataklysm co-headlining tour. You read the rest of the artists. I’m too lazy to write them.
- Did you ever need a reason to go to Canada? Of course you didn’t! But now you might! At least if you’re in a band. Not taxing bands = Canadians being slightly less unfortunate. Take that double negative and shove it.
- Daniel Thompkins is back in Tesseract. I’m not familiar enough to comment. So I won’t. I’ll just share.
- Darkest Hour has a new album coming out August 5th. I’m sure you’ll inevitably find a review here in the future. But there’s a preview clip if you feel like judging less than 20 seconds of music.
- This just in: Metallica is old as fuck. Apparently they just realized this. Good for them.
- And I think I’ll leave you with Menace’s music video for “Drowning in Density”:
Napalm Death’s Mitch Harris’ side project is not Napalm Death. Which I can appreciate. Cool video, too. Alright. Time to hit the fridge. I’m also fine with the concept that one of the tags for this post is ‘Canada’.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
