Well, another Monday in the books. Hope all had as a good of a weekend as I did. Fall is a pretty awesome time of year, not gonna lie. How about some metal news from the day?
- Missed this on Friday because I was busy drinking, but Dark Tranquility and Paradise Lost have been added to Blastfest 2015. This is good. Meanwhile, Motograter have been at added to Knotfest. This is not good.
- Behemoth got the Russia treatment again on their current tour. The weird thing? The show was in Poland. As in the place they live. What the shit Poland?
- Need another reason to make fun of Kerry Kind? Of course you don’t. But you’re getting one anyway. Here’s him at a Chick-fil-A drive through. Lol.
- On a sad note, Mikey Domingo, former vocalist for The Faceless, has passed away. I can’t say my familiarity of the band is much at all, but nobody ever wants to hear this.
- In Flames artwork has made it onto an NHL goalie helmet. This is actually kinda cool. Because hockey. And metal album heart. Two of my favorite things!
- And last but not least, the first single of Devin Townsend’s Z2… ‘Deathray’:
One of the finer human beings alive. The song is awesome and does nothing more than get me really, really excited for Z2.
Anyone else notice that I’m actually being nice today? Well, for the most part at least. Weird, right?
