I’m more excited about the start of the NHL season than the MLB playoffs. I’m willing to bet most metalheads would agree. Especially in these parts.

• AC/DC has released the artwork for Rock or Bust. It looks… meh. ‘Play Ball’ was released as well, but apparently that’s been taken down. Find out for yourself.
• So you know that most recent All That Remains album that I didn’t listen to? According to Phil Labonte, I made the right choice. Now if only he could confirm I made the right choice with the rest of them…
• Following this summer’s tours… Emperor have no further reunion shows planned. Might I have seen the very last of the Emperor shows at Wacken this year? That’s something I can fall asleep to.
• King Diamond is releasing a ‘best of’ double album on November 11th… and that’s awesome.
• Cannibal Corpse had a show canceled due to technical issues in Russia. Normally this wouldn’t hugely noteworthy… but in light of recent attempts to keep Cannibal Corpse out of Russia, it raises a few eyebrows.
