Coming at you a little later today. Which is just too bad… mostly for you. The good news is that my first show of 2015 is tomorrow night, Insomnium (spoiler alert: more from them tomorrow) and Dark Tranquility should kick a few asses. After yesterday’s… well, yesterday’s shit, it’s a step in the right direction.
- I kind of already knew this, but this makes it official. Pallbearer will be joining At The Gates, Vallenfyre, and Converge on this year’s Decibel Magazine Tour. Hot damn.
- You know what fascinates me? Coachella. Not sure why. It just does. Anyway, the 2015 Coachella lineup has been announced. Dan brought this up earlier, it’ll be some kind of fascinating to see AC/DC fans interact with Drake fans.
- For those that want to question humanity this evening, Leroy Smith III, an admitted murderer of his father, has pinned blame on Slayer for his actions. Gather whatever you want from this. It’s a mess.
- Mike Portnoy is doing metal things! What a nice career change. No, Dream Theater and Avenged Sevenfold don’t count. Sorry. That said, anybody else as skeptical about this as I am?
- Now I know you all saw Dan’s post earlier about albums we’re excited for in Q1 2015. One of them was Periphery’s double album Juggernaut. Here’s a new track called ‘Alpha’. This will be off of the, you guessed it, Alpha side:
One of the better tracks I’ve heard from the upcoming album. Release date is January 27th.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
