Well, my week is over. Lucky me.

• Dream Theater have released the artwork for their upcoming Astonishing. They also released a new track called “The Gift of Music.” I want nothing to do with either.
• Converge will be playing Roadburn Festival in the Netherlands next year. Even cooler than that, they’ll be playing their classic Jane Doe in its entirety.
• German death metal legends Obscenity have recently signed on with Kolony Records and are set to crank out their ninth studio album next Spring. Going hard since 1989! Fuck they’re old.
• In case anybody wanted to know why Immortal have split up (sorta), Demonaz and Horgh have come to clear things up. Naturally, according to them, it was because of Abbath’s personal issues.
• I should probably share the new Baroness track so that I don’t get yelled at. This one is called “Morningstar”.
