• The rough times for Corey Taylor are continuing. The Slipknot singer took a nasty fall and needed to be helped off stage. It seems like he’s doing alright today, however.
• BMG has announced today that is has acquired independent New York-based label The End Records. This deal includes the label’s full catalog and future recordings.
• Kataklysm have announced an upcoming North America tour set to begin in late September. They will be supported by Carach Angren.
• I haven’t shared album sales in awhile for obvious reasons, but check out Gojira‘s opening week. A very impressive debut to say the least.
• Skipping a playlist today and am instead going with the first round of MDF 2017 bands. Big names include Morbid Angel, Autopsy, and Behexen.
