Had a good day on the trails yesterday. And then had to work today. Bad progression of activities!
- Los Angeles death metal faction Kommand are releasing Death Age, their sophomore album, on March 31 through 20 Buck Spin. Today they shared a new single from that effort, “Global Death”, which you can check out here.
- California psych doom crew Acid King premiered a new track over at Rock Hard titled “Mind’s Eye”. Their fifth album, Beyond Vision, is out on March 24 through Blues Funeral Recordings’ PostWax series.
- Quick update from Alice Cooper. Nita Strauss will be returning to his band for this year’s upcoming touring, starting with the North American run kicking off on April 28.
- Moon Oracle have set April 13 as the international release date for their second album, Ophidian Glare, which will be available for Signal Rex and Bestial Burst. Hear the new tracks, “The Numinous Gate Opens” and “Nethereal Axe” over on their Bandcamp.
- Der Weg einer Freiheit is one of my favorites, so let’s close the book on today with the performance video for “Am Rande der Dunkelheit”, which features footage from last year’s headlining tour. That track, of course, is taken from 2021’s Noktvrn, which is available through Season of Mist.
