• Opening up with some Season of Mist happenings, Necrowretch shared a lyric video for “Ksar Al-Kufar”. That’s the second single taken from their upcoming fifth album, Swords of Dajjal, which is slated for a February 2 release.
• Sleaze metallers Smoking Snakes are releasing their debut album, Danger Zone, on February 9 through Frontiers Music, having recently signed on with the label. Today, the first single with accompanying video from that effort has emerged. Check out “Sole Survivors” here.
• This is going to be a fun tour. Voivod and Prong are teaming up for a North American run early next year, kicking off on February 28 in Columbus. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.
• Jonathan Hultén has marked his return with a new standalone single titled “The Well”. It’s accompanied by a visualizer of his own creation, and can be seen here.
