Today… was a long one. But the good news is that I’m about to lock in my first show of 2024.

• We shared recently that Allegaeon are joining Decapitated, Septicflesh, and Kataklysm for a North American run in a few months, and today they shared a studio update with original vocalist Ezra Haynes. Busy start to the new year apparently.
• Knocked Loose announced a headlining North American run with Show Me The Body, Loathe, and Speed. The party starts in late April and runs into early June. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday.
• Doom practitioner Arð returns with the sophomore full-length Untouched by Fire, arriving on April 26 through Prophecy Productions. The first single was released as a lyric video, “Cursed to Nothing But Patience”.
• Salt Lake City psych rock trio Iota are releasing Pentasomnia on March 22 through Small Stone Recordings. Preorders are up, and “The Returner” can be heard here.
• Should we close with the latest transmission from Darkspace? Yes. Yes we should. “Dark -2.-2” is available below, the third offering from Dark Space -II. That one is officially out on February 16 through Season of Mist.
