Work is done. Soccer is on. And there isn’t much more I would need at this point on a Tuesday. Maybe a clear inbox, but that’s what we’re working on!
- I’ve been excited to share this since I saw it first come through. Gatecreeper announced a new album, Dark Superstition, will be out on May 17 through Nuclear Blast Records. A video for the first single, “The Black Curtain”, is available, and be sure to catch them on the road with In Flames only a handful of weeks from now.
- That said, I was equally as excited about the new stuff coming from Abrams. Blue City will arrive through Blues Funeral Recordings on May 24, and the first sample from that effort, “Fire Waltz”, can be heard here.
- Scottish progressive post-metal outfit Dvne are releasing Voidkind on April 19 through Metal Blade, so that one is coming up real quick. Here’s everything you need about that one, including a video for the new track “Plerõma“.
- Finnish black metal project Kratti have set May 1 as the release date for Matka Kohti Kosmista through Signal Rex. A new track, “Ääni Hiljaisuuteen Katoava”, is streaming over at the label’s Bandcamp page.
- To Conquer Eternal Damnation, the debut album from melodic death metal project Darkness Everywhere, will be released on May 10 through Creator-Destructor Records. Check out the video for “Retaliation” directly below.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
