Another week of light picks…that’s fine; I’m more than happy to fill this, the 371st edition of the Nine Circles Playlist with metal I love and have been loving recently. So let’s kick it off with the new single from Nite, a band that the Top Brass here absolutely love and can’t wait to get our dirty mitts on Cult Of The Serpent Sun when it comes out in March. Also it looks like Charlie Griffiths, guitar shredder for progressive rock outfit Haken is getting his speed/thrash on with his upcoming album Gods of Pangaea – just check out that album art, and dig the metal while you’re at it.
From there we’ve got some new Imperial Triumphant and Grima, the return of Revenge and Cryptosis, some oldies from Cloud Rat and Have a Nice Life, some live Wardruna, and finally some classic Exodus because just when I was getting so excited for a new release this year I went and re-bought Pleasures Of The Flesh, Fabulous Disaster, and Impact Is Imminent they went and fired Steve “Zetro” Souza AGAIN…goddammit. There’s more stuff as well.
Get listening. Stay safe. See you next week.
