January ends strong, music-wise. As for everything else, well…all I can say is thank god for music. When I’m not buried deep in 70s prog (currently immersing myself in Van Der Graaf Generator) it’s been a diet of killer metal from Century, currently my AOTM if we’re keep ing tracks anymore. Plus really strong showings from Onirophagus bringing the death-doom hard, and new Mean Mistreater, whose new album comes out later this month.

Elsewhere the rest of the staff has you covered with all sorts of music, including new tracks from Deafheaven, Cult of Fire, Skaldr, Bonesawer, Lucifer’s Child, Flesh Prison, and a bunch more weirdness to match whatever your psyche’s been putting out.
