Coming at you late because I felt like hiking after work.
- We’ll lead off with the 15th studio album from Finnish melodic death metal legends Amorphis. Borderland will be out on September 26th through Reigning Phoenix Music. Pre-save the first new track, “Light And Shadow”, which will arrive on June 6th.
- Next, a tour. Whitechapel announced the Rituals of Hate headlining tour, with U.S. dates in November and December. As usual, general ticket sales go live on Friday with presales kicking off a couple of days earlier.
- Sargeist… I remember Sargeist! The Finnish black metal entity will release their sixth album, Flame Within Flame, on May 28th through W.T.C. Productions. Wait. So… tomorrow? And I’m just hearing about this now? Huh.
- Planning For Burial released a new single and video, “(blueberry pop)”. That’s the latest from their new LP, It’s Closeness, which is out on Friday through The Flenser.
- To close out our Tuesday (finally), we have a new video from Changeling for “World? What World?”. For those that need the reminder, this is the progressive death metal project from Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschläger. The self-titled album is out through Season of Mist.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
