The 397th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist is back from a great couple weeks of vacation, but you know what? Adam Sandler was right. We’ll leave that where it is for now, but at least Cryptopsy topped a great new release by putting out a re-recording of a classic and it totally rips your face off. I’m also going out on a limb and saying the Ripper era of Judas Priest wasn’t terrible at all, judging from the down-tuned attack of Jugulator which I got re-acquainted with over the last few days. Nice to know not everything is set in stone…

You know what doesn’t change? The 9C crew bringing their own skewered picks to the playlist. We got new music from Der Weg Einer Freiheit, Our Oceans, Amon Amarth, and Nine Inch Nails. We got classic Exodus, Old Man’s Child, and something called Geese…I don’t know what that is, but I’ll find out with the rest of you on this week’s playlist. We got a lot more, but that’s spoilers, honey…
