The 403rd edition of the Nine Circles Playlist just became an empty nester, having dropped his one and only son off at college the other day. Heavy music has been holding back the tears, and thank the elder gods Sergeant Thunderhoof just released their cover of Pink Floyd’s “Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Parts 6-9” because that helped a ton. Not to mention new music from Deathhammer and Vicious Rumors, still going strong more than 40 years later.

The 9C crew deliver on all fronts, featuring new tunes from Proscription and Peelingflesh, the surprise (to me) collaboration between Chat Pile and Hayden Pedigo, Hooded Menace, Kamra, Victim of Fire and a lot more.
