The 426th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist is back under the covers for another winter storm. Thankfully this week’s release slate was HUGE, and capping it with being the first Bandcamp Friday of 2026 means I have a metric ton of new and new to me music to get through, like the incredibly heavy and cookin’ Jack Harlon & the Dead Crows, not to mention a new single from Chat Pile and the first album from Karnivool in…13 years?!

The rest to the 9C crew isn’t skimping on the cuts, either. Among the many surprises within you’ll hear cuts from Mire, Egregore, Incandescence, and more Holywater Blacklight because Angela, Corey, and I are completely in the bag for Not Here Not Gone. We’ve also got some Cat Power, new Kanonenfieber, and some Kathryn Mohr to round things out.
