Can we please start referring to Wednesday as something other than ‘Hump Day’? I’m just really tired of the association with that stupid camel commercial. Either way, it’s over and only five working days (and two shows) separate me from Maryland Death Fest. This is good. Anyway, how about some Quickies?
- In another episode of ‘Something I’ll do/Something I won’t do’, here’s a book I will read… and one I probably won’t. Heavy Devy writing a book has serious potential.
- Since there is no way we will review a Mushroomhead album (I doubt either of us would get through one), here’s an opportunity to listen to a song off the new album, The Righteous & The Butterly, which is out now.
- Despite David Brockie’s passing, GWAR may still make an appearance at Riotfest later this year.
- Ozzy can’t renovate a barn on his property… because bats are residing in it. Apparently the bats need to be removed or protected first. Irony.
- Ernie Chataway, founding guitarist of Judas Priest, passed away the other night. Rest in peace, man.
- And finally, here’s Batman sad about metal related things:
I, unlike Batman pictured above, will be at the Gojira show this coming Friday. Suck it, Batman.
Prost.
