The week is half over and I’m STILL working my way through all the new releases from this week. Not a bad thing. Some pretty decent stuff out there, too. You’ll hear all about it in the next episode. Anyway, let’s get some news out there so that I can gear up for the potential Stanley Cup clinching game in just under an hour.

• Dave Lombardo has joined Amen. Not the biggest surprise but it could be worth checking out. No details on a album release yet, however.
• New songs I will probably listen to eventually: Goatwhore, Suicide Silence, and Eluveitie.
• Today in Mastodon Related Shit: Mastodon’s Once More ‘Round The Sun is available via… BitCoin? Yep. True story. Also, here’s a video for “High Road”.
• New tour announcement: Skeletonwitch is hitting the road with Ghoul and Black Anvil. This will run through the month of September and should be a solid time.

I was also forced into the realization that Alissa White-Gluz is dating that asshat guitarist from the Misfits. I ignored it as long as I could. Fucking bullshit.
