It’s Friday! But the time this post actually runs, I will be at least three beers deep. Because I am a champion.

• Darkthrone is the studio as we speak, working on their next album. And it looks like half the album is already recorded? Cool.
• Any Sevendust fans out there? Didn’t really think so. Either way, maybe it will benefit you to know that they are currently streaming their upcoming Kill the Flaw, which drops next Friday.
• This is kinda cool. Chino Moreno took to the stage with System of a Down to perform “Toxicity” at Rock in Rio. And it went… rather well.
• Cryptopsy has a new album dropping on October 30th titled The Book of Suffering, Tome I. In anticipation of the new album, they have released a killer new track called “Detritus.”
• Finally, in case anybody wanted to know why we are obsessed with Rammstein‘s live performances, here is one reason:
