Good morning, it’s time to metal. Even though our exclusive stream might have beaten us to the punch. Whoops. Anyway, here’s some news you might have missed from yesterday:

- Leading off, Vattnet appear to have scrubbed their Instagram, changed their handle (it’s now @vattnetband) and are teasing something for this Friday. In related news, I need to go change my pants.

- Nails have officially announced their new, second guitar player: it’s Leon Del Muerte — also from Nausea, Intronaut, Terrorizer L.A. and dozens more. They finally found someone who is also one of them!

- So, a Ukrainian zoo has erected a statue of Slayer frontman Tom Araya, for some reason. I got nothing here, folks.

- Mutoid Man is streaming their new album, War Moans over at Noisey, which you should absolutely go listen to. Unless you’re, like, an enemy of fun and nice things.

- Whole buncha news to me on this one, folks: apparently there is a Star Wars-themed metal band called Galactic Empire, and apparently they’re going on tour. Mind blown.

- Good news for Dream Theater fans, bad news for everyone else: according to vocalist James LaBrie, the band’s going to do a new album next year.
