There are two things I need to write tonight. Let’s see how fast I can get them done so that I can spend a little bit of time outside.

• Tours! To start, remember that Undeath announcement from yesterday? Well, there’s more! They also have a North American headlining run in (mostly) October, and they’ll be joined by Kruelty and Gates To Hell. Tickets go on sale at the end of the week.
• And then we have the High On Fire tour with Weedeater, Negative Approach, and Exhumed, set for basically the same time of year I guess. Here’s the full schedule with all the links you need.
• Portland death bringers Coffin Rot have nailed down September 20 as the release date for their second album, titled Dreams Of The Disturbed. That will be out through Maggot Stomp, and you can hear “Perverted Exhumation” while you lock in your preorder.
• A new video from Oranssi Pazuzu for “Valotus” emerged today. Muuntautuja is locked in for an October 11 release through Nuclear Blast, and yes that does feel like a lifetime away.
• To close out, Arch Enemy have marked their return with a new single and video titled “Dream Stealer”, their first new material since 2022’s Deceivers. And now we all wait for whatever comes next.
