The 378th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist took a detour into the pile of cassettes he’s amassed over the past year so even though we’re kicking things off with the new single from Ghost (YMMV, but I really dig the chorus) and some sweet trad metal from The Death Wheelers off their just-released album we’re gonna dive into a frenzy of death metal from the past two years. Things get heavy as $#@!, and I’m bitterly kicking myself for not including Noxis on my 2024 end of year list.

It’s another week for the rest of the crew, and they’ve bringing new stuff, old stuff, metal stuff, and uh, well…Vince brought Mitski, so I’m not complaining. We’ve got new music from Lik, Fractal Universe, Tómarúm, serious second wave worship from Nekyros, classic Death (I mean, it’s all classic, right?) and a lot more so pour yourself a hot brew of your choice and settle in with some tunes.
