The 427th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist realizes it’s Valentine’s Day. But I’d rather think of it as the first day I can sit and luxuriate in new releases from Converge and Worm without the dragon’s breath of work signing the hairs on my neck. I prefer to let the riffs do that. And since I don’t like leaving a playlist without at least three of my picks kicking it off, why not a little taste of what Triumpher is bringing to the masses with their forthcoming album?

The rest to the 9C crew round out the rest of the sonic disturbance this week, with tracks from Cryptic Shift, Corrosion of Conformity, and Bosse-de-Nage. We also got the latest from Knocked Loose with Denzel Curry, All Them Witches (surprisingly not picked by yours truly), and some Devenial Verdict as anchors to some more surprises within.
