The 460th edition of the Nine Circles Playlist had one of those moments where you literally feel the earth slide out from underneath you, each server in your body signaling a threshold has been crossed, one there is no returning from. Everything has changed. Nothing is the same. My moment came on 11:45pm Tuesday night, and if I were allowed music maybe I would have listened to the new Dissimulator, or continued my discovery of The Spacelords while I wait for the new Tangent to get officially released (fear not, I have an advanced copy) as I watched my life twist in a new direction.

Am I unique in this? No, and I know the 9C staff have ALL had their moments too. That didn’t stop them from bringing picks like Spirit Possession, Werewolves, and more Chat Pile…never a bad thing when the album is this damn good.

Get listening. Stay safe. See you next week.
