- The Depression Sessions, a three-way split with The Acacia Strain, Thy Art Is Murder, and Fit For An Autospy, will be out on August 12th through Nuclear Blast. Includes some covers and stuff.
- Looks like Chevelle and Disturbed are planning a fall tour together. Which makes sense, because they’ll be playing similar festivals all summer and whatnot.
- I missed this a couple of days ago, but Body Count covered Slayer‘s “Raining Blood” in the studio. From what I hear, it definitely didn’t suck.
- You know it’s a slow day when Mike Portnoy shows up. The Dream Theater drummer will be playing “12-Step Suite” for the first time live at his 50th birthday celebration. I hope there’s cake.
