Will I ever get my Best of 2025 post done? Probably! But… probably not today. Or tomorrow. Oh well! 2026 is still young.
- A couple tours to share today, so let’s start with a big one. Behemoth, Deicide, Rotting Christ, and Immolation are joining forces for a North American run in April and May. Tickets go on sale Friday, and all the information you need can be found here.
- Next up, The Black Dahlia Murder with The Acacia Strain, Disembodied Tyrant, and Corpse Pile. Unfortunately this one comes nowhere near me, but if you happen to be interested and able more information is available here.
- That’s all I care about for tours, so let’s see what Abrams are up to next. They’re dropping a new album through Blues Funeral Recordings on April 17th titled Loons. That’s a big deal. Give “Glass House” a listen.
- UK progressive death metal outfit Cryptic Shift will release their new full length, Overspace & Supertime, on February 27th through Metal Blade and “Hexagonal Eyes (Diverity Trepaphyphasyzm)” is available for your listening pleasure now.
- Of course we’re going to close with the new Converge track. The clip for “We Were Never The Same” is below. For a reminder that you probably don’t need, Love Is Not Enough is out on February 13th through Deathwish / Epitaph.
“Ein Bier… bitte.”
