
After a pretty unrelenting work week, I had no interest in being near a computer last night. So donuts coffee and canto it is!
- We’ll start our Saturday morning with Patriarchs in Black, who dropped the third single from Home, their upcoming fourth album that’s out on August 15h through Metalville. Check out “Ready to Die” at the label’s YouTube channel.
- Czech post-metal band Elbe have signed on with Octopus Rising / Argonauta Records, and to celebrate their new chapter have released the new single (with music video) titled “Never Again”.
- Detroit grind outfit Shock Narcotic dropped a surprise album yesterday, titled My Flesh Is Afraid But I Am Not. A video for “Oblivion Licker” can be seen here, and they have a few dates supporting Pantera towards the end of the month.
- Out of Nuclear Blast, Blackbriar offered up the latest from A Thousand Little Deaths, a track titled “A Last Sigh Of Bliss”. Their new album is out on August 22nd.
- And to wrap up, we have new stuff from The Acacia Strain. They announced a new album, You Are Safe From God Here, which will be out on October 24th through Rise Records. They also have a tour kicking off on July 29th at St. Andrew’s Hall. Sick.
